Creative Telecom’s Zephyr GSM30 gateway is a product from Creatives years of dedicated R & D experience. It is modular in design, Compaq to fit in to standard data racks and intel igent in cal routing with a built-in LCR to reduce communication costs. The Zephyr GSM30 Gateway al ows companies to take advantage of lower cel to cel cal ing rates by enabling them to send al their mobile traffic over the mobile network. Creative Telecom’s Zephyr GSM30 is a GSM gateway solution designed for medium and large companies with a high proportion of cal s to and from GSM networks. It is designed for reliable, cost-effective routing between GSM and the fixed line network Connecting to a company's PABX via an ISDN primary rate (PRI) port, the Zephyr GSM30 can be thought of as a type of mobile phone that takes multiple SIM cards (just like the ones used in your mobile Zephyr GSM30 gateway provides multiple GSM lines (between 4 and 30) for larger companies. Traditional y companies have had to use one Wireless Landline (also known as a Fixed Cel ular Terminal) per line to achieve this. This means that rather than having 12 Wireless Landline boxes, for example, the SIM cards are strung together in a rack mounted unit. In this way, the Zephyr GSM30 gateway replaces the cumbersome fixed wireless terminals and provides accurate ‘answer’ supervision and ‘line disconnect’ supervision.
